Hi.
I'm oet247[^1] and this is my blog, the name of which I've taken liberal, bordering on some sort of creative theft, inspiration from Nicolas Creamer's [Wrong Every Time](https://wrongeverytime.com/).
I've always wanted to have my own website to put my writing on instead of toiling away in the pits of hell (Google Docs), and a friend of mine (hi lou) inspired me to try with her own website here [lou's blog](https://glhf.lildro.blog/).
It might be already too late to mention this, but excuse any grammatical or spelling mistakes on this page and in any of the posts - English is neither my native language, nor do I have someone with enough time on their hands to comb through even a fraction of my deranged writing. If you get annoyed easily by errors of the tongue, proceed with caution past this point, I can not promise your safety, but hopefully you can move past my ineptitude and take the plunge.
I will try my best to give a one, admitedly very windy, sentence outline of this blog's intended contents[^3]. The posts will bounce around a variety of different topcis, the main ones being:
essays on YOMI Hustle, and getting good at all manners of games in general, but that one is of particularly interest; analysis pieces on media, which if I were to order by estimated descending frequency of output, would be: anime, movies, games, books, manga; and whatever else I feel like writing really. Some of my other interests include - beatboxing, learning japanese, drawing, table tennis and mathematics.
Partially to rep my nerd credentials, and with the additional functionality of serving as a highly personal kind of sanity check, I will also give you non-numbered and thus internet unfriendly, yet still quasi ordered within sections, list of my roughly favourite things in each of the above categories, including some others:
- anime[^4] - Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Oregairu, Violet Evergarden, Ping Pong, Mob Psycho 100, Shin Seiki Evangelion
- movies - Koe no Katachi, Sennen Joyuu
- games - The Beginner's Guide, Getting Over It with Bennet Foddy, Milk outside a bag of milk outside a bag of milk, Signalis
- books - Konbini Ningen, Mata Onaji Yume wo Miteita, Good Habits Bad Habits, NHK ni Youkoso!, Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy
- manga - Medalist, Yotsuba to!, Kimi to Tsuzuru Utakata, Kokou no Hito
- blogs/newsletters - [pluralistic](https://pluralistic.net/), [Where's your Ed at?](https://www.wheresyoured.at/), [Wrong Every Time](https://wrongeverytime.com/)
- music - Kessoku Bando (yeah yeah I got it already shut up), Kinoko Teikoku, The Pillows, Yorushika, Soutaisei Riron, La Larks
- beatboxers[^5] - I was gonna write a whole list, but it ended up just being french dudes
- podcasts - Tonari No Zatsudan
- youtubers - Folding Ideas, 3Blue1Brown, Fractal Philosophy, Hbomberguy, Melee Stats
[^1]: Not my actual name. I don't think Bulgaria[^2]'s naming register even allows for numbers, but even if it did, I am not currently, nor would I ever, be named that. My name actual name is Teodor (last name ommited for obvious reasons), and you can probably tell at this point that my tag is just my pet name backwards. The numbers at the end have never meant anything, I came up with this tag when I was, by my current highly scientific estimates, around 6~7 years old, but people love to inerpret them as 24/7 or asign other arbitrary meanings.
[^2]: Coincidentally, I'm writing this about me section on the day right after the 2026 parlamentary elections and oh boy is this country going to hell. At least you can put footnotes in footnotes, they can't take that away from me.
[^3]: This section is the first thing I'm writing, and so what I end up putting out may or may not wildly deviate from my initial ideas. Sections can always be rewritten, but I'd prefer not to, which is why I'm putting this note. If you somehow couldn't tell already, I love notes.
[^4]: Japanese titles will be in romaji unless otherwise specified.
[^5]: Ironically this seperation of the two categories implies that I don't consider beatboxing to be music.
